Perinatal Project Facilitator
Location: Newham, UK
Type: Part-time | Community-based | Fixed-term (until March 2026, subject to funding)
About the Role
Good Shepherd Voluntary Organisation is seeking a compassionate and organised Facilitator to support our perinatal wellbeing programme in Newham. The facilitator will play a central role in planning and delivering group support sessions for new and expectant parents, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for families.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and lead structured group sessions for parents/carers

Support participants with signposting and relevant resources

Work closely with peer mentors and other team members

Help monitor session attendance and participant feedback

Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality practices
What We’re Looking For

Experience facilitating group activities or support sessions

Knowledge or interest in perinatal mental health and family wellbeing

Good communication and people skills

Organised, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
